New Initiative - Winter Woollies
Winter Woollies has been blessed over the last 20 years with beautiful knitters who have generously donated their time and resources to knit winter outerwear for the needy. In the past, the items were shipped to small communities north of the Sault.
Currently, we are asking you, if you are a knitter and are looking for a project to do, please consider becoming a Winter Woollies Knitter. The knitted items are now being distributed to the homeless and the needy here in Sault Ste. Marie as the need has grown. For more information, please contact Roberta at caymalone@yahoo.ca.

Our volunteers also take time to share a meal and chat with our guests.
BBQ – June to September
On Tuesdays from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. during the summer months, volunteers serve hamburgers and beverages to patrons at Salvation Army.
Thank You to Fratelli's Restaurant for their generous support in this Outreach.
Operation Mercy Relief was formed to not only aid those in need, but more importantly, to share with others that God truly loves them.
We have team members who are available if anyone needs a prayer or just a listening ear.
Sacramentals, such as Rosaries, medals and prayer cards are given to many who gratefully accept them.
There are many Nursing and Retirement homes where residents are unable to attend Sunday Mass. Our Eucharistic Ministry Teams, provide Communion Services in a group setting or will bring Communion to those individuals who are unable to leave their rooms.
We also provide Communion to those individuals who are home bound due to illness or old age.
Lord, may You be their Shining
Light in their darkness,
Your healing Grace in their woundedness and may You lead them on their journey back to You. Amen
